Today was the first time I played the course. Lots of positives. Course was in excellent shape. Greens were quick and smooth. The course offered a variety of shots which will test most recreational golfers. Staff was friendly and professional. I was not prepared for the walking distance sometimes between the green and the location of your cart. Often, steep hills and mounds were in your path. Being 77, I admit I was tired at the end of the round but that did not affect my appreciation of the day and the course. A hidden gem.

The course is great. My buddy and I have played it before. But today, we had an issue. We had a tee time set up for 7:30 in the morning, driving from over half an hour away. When we get there, the first thing I see are other people getting ready to go golfing. As I say good morning to one of them, I get a stone-faced response and nothing said. I was just trying to be cordial. That should have told me what was about to happen. My buddy, wearing a hoodie with a polo underneath, is given the riot act by their starter as we are checking in for our prepaid tee time. Talking to him like he's a child. I am then told that I need to wait for 45 minutes because of frost on the course.. And that I would have to start on hole 10 for some reason. Why make a tee time then? I understand frost. But when you have my info, at least give me a heads up. When I told him that we couldn't wait that long, I was told that being that I pre paid on line, he couldn't do anything about the refund. Meanwhile, I see others loading their clubs into carts like it's nothing. Funny that nothing was said to them. We were the first people in the pro shop. Would not recommend to your average Joe golfer, wh

Golf course is in Phenomenal shape. Tough!! plays as long as the holes are. Very challenging. Greens and Fairways are pristine. Staff is pretty good for the most part. A couple are a little dull. But great course for sure. Will definitely have to come back out and play soon. πͺπ»

I love this course, but I hate it. It has so much potential, but the conditions are so up and down. The sand traps were the worst in the world for about 10 years. In the past 3 years, they started redoing them, and the new ones are great. Can't wait until they're all finished. Greens can be US Open quality. Or they can aerate them, and they're crap for a month. In the last three years, they've decided to let much of the rough turn into fescue. Two to three feet high, can't find the ball, unplayable usually if you do. This slows up play and makes for a very frustrating round, especially when some of this fescue is right off the fairway. And it's everywhere, every hole. Super penal and very unfair in my opinion. If you make a course way more difficult, does the slope and course rating go up? I don't think the scorecards have changed since it opened in 2000. Also, what is the true yardage? The scorecards list the blues at 6623. But USGA's GHIN list it as 6302. The white tees have a similar almost 300 yard discrepancy. Can someone from the USGA come out and reevaluate the course? And one more thing, the drainage is God awful. I would've thought that a big name firm like Hurdzan Fry

Best $40 course I have ever played. Greens just aerated so understandably troublesome, but maintained perfectly for fall. Less leaves than expected (great job maintenance). Layout A+, greens would be A+, fairways A+, price/ value A+++. Negative, a little harder to get to, and bunkers were terrible. Water filling 90% of them, all of them in bad shape. Lost 2 balls in the bunker water. Overall gorgeous course in fall. LOVED it!!!!
